Three new Lyon County COVID-19 cases, two recoveries reported Tuesday

Three new cases of COVID-19 and two recoveries were reported in Lyon County Tuesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The cases are a man in his 40s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 20s with no connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 20s with no connection to a previously reported case.
There have been 183 total cases in Lyon County, 43 of them currently active, with 137 recoveries and three deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 24, 81 total cases have been reported and 16 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. Overall Tuesday, there were 21 new cases and 16 recoveries in the Quad-County region. In all, there have now been 636 total cases, 477 recoveries and 10 deaths in the Quad-County region. Twelve Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
