NDOW hosting fishing clinic this weekend

We finally have plenty of water to fish in our lakes, reservoirs, and rivers. Now is the time to get ready for the great year of fishing we have coming up.
So you want to learn how to fly fish? Well, here is your opportunity to learn some of the components needed in order to land that trophy trout. The Nevada Department of Wildlife has scheduled its first three-day Introduction to Fly Fishing Class.
This three-day clinic is broken down into a day for casting, a day for fly tying, and a day on the water practicing your newly learned skills. This clinic is designed for individuals, ages 18 years and older, who are new to the sport of fly fishing. This clinic is free to all participants and materials will be provided. Be sure to sign up quickly, though, as these classes fill up fast and are limited to the first 10 people who enroll.
We ask that you plan on attending all three days.
Classes will be held at the Verdi Library on the following days
Thursday, May 11, 6-9 p.m.
Friday, May 12, 6–9 p.m.
Saturday, May 13, 9 a.m.-noon.
