From Kimberly Benscoter This is my Father, Paul LaMarr Benscoter. Born June 5, 1912, passed October 25, 2002. My father was one of the “motivating forces in the airline industry”, as quoted by Ed Daly, president of World Airways. To list a few of his accomplishment, he was in Who’s Who in Aviation, was one of the first in the start up of Northwest Airlines, Frontier Airlines, BWIA and World Airways. He was president of American Chamber of Commerce in Japan in 1957 – 1958. My father had wonderful stories of his career with all of the people he met throughout his journey in Aviation. There is so much to tell about how wonderful this man was to so many. He was kind, funny and very quick witted. This man raised 4 girls to be independent, strong and successful. I am grateful every day for how I was raised. My mother and father had their hands full with us 4 girls.
