Two new Lyon County COVID-19 cases reported Sunday

Two new cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County were reported Sunday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.

The new cases announced Friday were a woman in her 30s with no connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 50s with a connection to a previously reported case.

There have now been 112 total cases in Lyon County, and out of those, there have been 86 recoveries and two deaths.

As of 6 p.m. June 27, 51 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 329 total cases, 230 recoveries and seven deaths in the Quad-County region. Six Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
