Two new cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries were reported in Lyon County Saturday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
The new cases in Lyon County are a man in his 40s with a connection to a previously reported case and a woman in her 40s with no connection to a previously reported case.
No cases in Lyon County were reported Friday, but there were two recoveries.
There have been 142 total cases in Lyon County, with 112 recoveries and two deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 9, 68 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.
In all, there have now been 443 total cases, 315 recoveries and eight deaths in the Quad-County region. Eleven Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
