Two Lyon County COVID-19 cases reported this Monday

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported two new cases of COVID-19 and five recoveries in Lyon County Monday, after there were five cases and nine recoveries over the weekend.
Quad County EOC does not provide updates over the weekend, although its database is updated daily.
There have been 273 total cases in Lyon County, 62 of them currently active, with 205 recoveries and six deaths.
Monday’s cases are a man in his 80s with a connection to a previously reported case, and a man in his 50s with no connection to a previously reported case.
As of its most recent update at 6 p.m. Aug. 3, 118 total cases have been reported and 25 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. There have now been 886 total cases, 732 recoveries and 15 deaths in the Quad-County region.
