Quad-County EOC reports one new Lyon County COVID-19 case, one recovery Wednesday

The Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported one new case of COVID-19 and one recovery in Lyon County Wednesday.

The newest case is a man in his 60s, Lyon County’s 46th confirmed positive case, while the recovery was the county’s 23rd.

Quad-County EOC also reported one recovery in Carson City Wednesday, bringing the Quad-County region total to 86 recoveries out of 128 cases. There have been two deaths, and there are three Quad-County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19.

Of the 1,798 tests Quad-County EOC has done as part of its community-based testing for those without symptoms, it has received 1,379 results, with only one positive so far.
