Lyon County’s 23rd COVID-19 case reported Friday

A woman in her 50’s became Lyon County’s 23rd resident to test positive for COVID-19, the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center reported Friday.
The person was one of three new cases reported by the Quad-County EOC Friday, along with two additional recoveries. The other two new cases are a Carson City woman in her 40’s and a Douglas County woman in her 30’s. Both of the newly recovered patients are from Carson City.
In all, there have been 75 confirmed cases in the Quad-County region, with 27 recoveries and one death. There are two Quad-County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19.
As of April 23, there have been approximately 1,228 COVID-19 tests performed by all providers in the Quad-County region.
