Six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were announced Tuesday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center, including on in Lyon County, bringing the total in Lyon County to 11.
The new Lyon County case is a woman in her 40’s.
Three of the other cases in the region were in Douglas County, including a woman in her 50’s, a girl under the age of 18 and a man in his 30’s. The other two were both Carson City women in their 50’s.
That brings the total number of cases in the Quad-County region to 49. Of those, 25 are in Carson City, 13 in Douglas County and 11 in Lyon County. There have been 11 recoveries and no deaths in the region.
Quad-County EOC also announced that there are now three Quad-County residents hospitalized due to COVID-19.
