After having been closed for in person meals and social activities since last March because of a Declaration of Emergency by the Lyon County Commission, the four Lyon County Senior Centers will reopen on Monday, May 17.
Regular business hours will resume Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., excluding holidays. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Drive through lunch service will be discontinued after Friday, May 14.
“Like many others, we have watched as our seniors have struggled with social isolation over the past year and we are looking forward to welcoming them back inside our centers,” said Rebecca Williams, the Senior Services Division Manager of Lyon County Human Services.
