Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is reporting two new positive cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus in the Quad County region, including the first confirmed case in Lyon County. CCHHS did not specify where in Lyon County the infected person lives.

This brings the total number of cases in the Quad-County region, which includes Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey counties, to six.

The two additional cases are a male Lyon County resident in his 60’s with recent travel history to the Bay Area and a female Douglas County resident in her 60’s with no recent travel history.
