Fernley High School band wins multiple awards

Photo courtesy Lyon County School District The Fernley High School Band participated in the Robert McQueen High School Extravaganza band competition this weekend and walked away with first place. They also brought home trophies for Outstanding Guard Class AAAA and Outstanding Woodwinds Class AAAA. The band is led by Jason Smith and the Color Guard is led by Kelly Henke.
