The Fernley Hometown Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting celebration will be held this Saturday, Dec. 8.
The 2018 Fernley Christmas Parade starts on Main Street at 5 p.m. The parade will end in front of the Fernley Depot, where the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, “Cocoa with a Cop,” pictures with Santa, and the judging from the Hometown Christmas Decoration Contest will take place. There will also be a toy drive, and attendees are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
