Fernley author appearing for story time and book signing in Fallon

Ivy Land at 160 Industrial Way in Fallon is hosting Mary Jean Kelso, local author and illustrator, at a Story Time and Book Signing Thursday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The focus will be on children’s books. Children and parents/adults are welcome. Homeschoolers and others interested in keeping children reading are invited.

Kelso’s books “Alamo Annie” and “The Chick that couldn’t Scratch” tied for 5th place in the Best Children’s book division in the Authors Category in the 20th annual Preditors & Editors Readers’ Poll.
