A total of 11 new cases of COVID-19 and four recoveries have been confirmed in Lyon County since Friday, according to the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center.
Three of the cases were reported Monday. Those were a man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case, a woman in her 60s with no connection to a previously reported case and a man in his 30s with no connection to a previously reported case. No information was provided on the eight cases identified over the weekend, because Quad-County EOC has stopped providing weekend updates.
There have been 180 total cases in Lyon County, 42 of them currently active, with 135 recoveries and three deaths.
As of 6 p.m. July 26, 79 total cases have been reported and 14 cases are active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. In all, there have now been 615 total cases, 461 recoveries and 10 deaths in the Quad-County region. Twelve Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
