Chamber Christmas parade, City events on tap Saturday night

The Fernley Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade and the traditional tree lighting ceremony at City Hall will be held this Saturday evening.

The parade down Main Street is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m., followed by the Christmas tree lighting event at 6:30 p.m. in front of City Hall. Inside City Hall, Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies will be hosting “Cocoa With the Cops” and parents can take pictures of their kids as they visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
