CCHHS reports first Lyon County COVID-19 recovery

Carson City Health and Human Services reported Wednesday that one of the four Lyon County residents with confirmed cases of COVID-19 has recovered.

Each of the other three cases confirmed in Lyon County remained active.

CCHHS reported two new cases in the Quad County region Wednesday, one in Carson City and one in Douglas County.

In all, there have been 27 cases confirmed in the Quad County Region – 14 in Carson City, nine in Douglas County and four in Lyon County. Nine of those patients have recovered, four each in Carson City and Douglas County, and the one in Lyon County. The other 18 remain active, and there have been no deaths from the virus in the Quad County region.

CCHHS said all of the infected patients are self-isolating at home.
