Robert Perea, The Fernley Reporter

Fernley fans who can’t attend the Vaqueros’ 3A State Tournament game in Las Vegas Friday afternoon can listen to the broadcast of the game online.

The game will be broadcast by KJAG Radio, a student-run radio station broadcast live from Jaguar Studio on the campus of Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas.

Fans can listen to Friday’s game by downloading the App: Mixlr, creating a free account and search KJAG Radio to the game Friday at 4:15.

KJAG is part of Radio Production in the Desert Pines Magnet Program. Students create, edit and perform their own programs and specialize in sports, news, music, and school information.

None of my grandchildren live local. Because of a similar program, I have got to watch and listen to most of my Grandson’s games, in Washington. It’s an awesome opportunity!
