56 new COVID-19 cases, 37 recoveries reported in Lyon County over weekend

The Carson City Health and Human Services Quad County Emergency Operations Center reported 56 new cases of COVID-19 and 37 recoveries over the weekend and on Monday.

There have been 2,366 total cases in Lyon County, 1,080 of them currently active, with 1,241 recoveries and 45 deaths.

As of 6 p.m. Jan. 11, 1,002 total cases had been reported and 481 cases were active in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

There have now been 9,953 total cases, 5,210 recoveries and 152 deaths in the Quad-County region.
