14 Lyon County COVID-19 recoveries reported Friday, two new cases Saturday

Fourteen recoveries of previously announced cases of COVID-19 in Lyon County were reported Friday by the Quad-County Emergency Operations Center, along with one new case Friday and two new cases Saturday.

The recoveries announced Friday brings the total to 86, out of the 110 cases that have been announced, with two deaths.

As of 6 p.m. June 26, 50 cases have been in the 89408 zip code, according to Carson City Health and Human Services and the Quad-County EOC. The breakdown of cases by zip code within the Quad-County region is available at https://gethealthycarsoncity.org/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code/.

The new case announced Friday was a woman in her 40s with no connection to a previously reported case. Saturday’s cases are a woman in her 20s with no connection to a previously reported case and a man in his 40s with no connection to a previously reported case.

There have now been 325 total cases, 230 recoveries and seven deaths in the Quad-County region. Six Quad-County residents are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19.
